Shad wireless sewing machine/device
Over the year’s physical disabled pupils in schools, and colleges, and adults in special needs sewing groups, have had issues using a standard sewing machine. Philip Shad invented the wireless sewing machine device to enable these special people to overcome their love of sewing, and now they can work alongside their peers in using the wireless keypad to operate a sewing machine. The device can be attached to the arm, leg, or attached to the wheelchair. When pressed a signal is sent to the machine to start/stop. There is also a pre-selected control unit to adjust the speed of the motor. “Redden Court School” uses this adaption to benefit the pupils in Design and Technology classes.
